Mary Daugherty teaches at Pārāwai School, having completed her post graduate degree in teaching at the University of Waikato, her law degree at the University of Saint Louis (USA), and her Bachelor's of Science at Florida State Universisty (USA). She loves all things movies, film, and theatre!  She can also frequently be found running, doing pilates, cuddling with her dogs, and playing boardgames with her family! 

 
Her favourite muscials are the In the Heights, the Great Gatsby, Waitress, Rent, and Hello Dolly! 
Her favourite movies and TV shows are Andor, Captain Marvel, Stranger than Fiction, the Amateur, Coco, Moon Knight, Encanto, Abbott Elementary, and movies based on Agatha Christie novels.  

 Her favourite books are the Red Queen Series, Pete the Cat books, Loki, Mr Stink and poems by Maya Angalou. And her favourite music is whatever is playing (although she often makes sure that Queen, Laufey, Jon Batiste, and show tunes are playing).
